Synopsis of Work:

Reconstruction of approximately 11 miles of freeway from two lanes in each direction to three. Project included 4,500,000 cubic yards of earthwork, 420,000 tons of aggregate processing, 3,000 linear feet of box culverts, demolition of 11 bridges and over 70 houses/businesses, and construction of 26 bridges of which 4 were temporary. Also included were major drainage improvements and construction of 300,000 square feet of retaining walls and 200,000 square feet of noise walls.
