Curtis Bilow

Vice President, Business Development | Corporate

Curtis leads a team of business development managers focused on building relationships in our markets. Serving the construction industry for nearly 25 years, Curtis joined Ames Construction in 2005 as a Project Manager in our Southwest Region. Curtis has served in numerous leadership roles and applies a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise to shaping our business development efforts.

Curtis also continues to serve as Corporate Director of Freight Rail, overseeing the company’s major rail projects. Curtis serves on the NRC (National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association) Board of Directors, and is the Chair of the Policy and Legislative Committee.

David Gatto

Business Development – Hydroelectric and Water

Although David has been with Ames Construction for the past six of his 38 years in the construction industry, he has known and been around the company for nearly three decades. As a young estimator for a Minneapolis general contractor doing national heavy industrial work, David learned firsthand about the Ames core values and corporate culture that aligned with his own and sought an opportunity to join the company. As a Business Development Manager, David identifies and pursues new and potential hydroelectric project opportunities throughout the country, while also serving as senior management on existing projects.

Craig Sandeen

Business Development - Renewables

Craig has nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry, with an emphasis on developing energy markets for the past 10 years with over 3.5 gigawatts of installed solar capacity. Craig oversees Business Development in the solar energy EPC business group at Ames Construction, strategizing and leading the team in discovering and developing new business in solar energy and all other renewable energy projects. Craig’s long history in the industry affords him keen insight into client challenges, which has helped him to build and foster valuable client relationships while advocating for the industry.

Kory Neider

Business Development Manager

Kory considers working at Ames Construction to be an “opportunity of a lifetime” in his 15 years in the construction industry. Working primarily to develop business in the energy and mining industries, he appreciates being able to apply his skills and venture into new markets while representing the company’s stellar reputation. Ames Construction’s values and performance provide great opportunities to serve owners at high levels.  Passionate about the work that he does, Kory strikes an excellent balance of meeting the needs of both the company and the client.
