Business Development – Hydroelectric and Water | National Accounts

Although David has been with Ames Construction for the past six of his 38 years in the construction industry, he has known and been around the company for nearly three decades. As a young estimator for a Minneapolis general contractor doing national heavy industrial work, David learned firsthand about the Ames core values and corporate culture that aligned with his own and sought an opportunity to join the company. As a Business Development Manager, David identifies and pursues new and potential hydroelectric project opportunities throughout the country, while also serving as senior management on existing projects. 

Craig Sandeen

Business Development - Renewables

Craig has nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry, with an emphasis on developing energy markets for the past 10 years with over 3.5 gigawatts of installed solar capacity. Craig oversees Business Development in the solar energy EPC business group at Ames Construction, strategizing and leading the team in discovering and developing new business in solar energy and all other renewable energy projects. Craig’s long history in the industry affords him keen insight into client challenges, which has helped him to build and foster valuable client relationships while advocating for the industry.

Business Development Manager | Western Region

Kory considers working at Ames Construction to be an “opportunity of a lifetime” in his 15 years in the construction industry. Working primarily to develop business in the energy and mining industries, he appreciates being able to apply his skills and venture into new markets while representing the company’s stellar reputation. Ames Construction’s values and performance provide great opportunities to serve owners at high levels.  Passionate about the work that he does, Kory strikes an excellent balance of meeting the needs of both the company and the client.

Lennie Boteilho

Environmental Affairs & Senior Project Manager | Western Region

Eighteen of Lennie’s 30 years of experience in the construction industry have been with Ames Construction. A valued critical thinker, Lennie applies his vast experience in environmental and compliance programs, pre-construction management and project management to various heavy civil and mining projects. With a primary focus on the mining sector, he pursues business development opportunities to build relationships in new ventures while serving as the sponsor for select projects.
