Synopsis of work:

Ames held two contracts on the Dry Fork Station project. The first contract included the site preparation and development at the 150-acre site for a new, conventional 480 MW coal-fired power plant. The site work included construction of the entrance and site roads, installation of erosion control facilities and drainage structures. The scope included grading, 1.5 million cubic yards of earthwork, aggregate processing and placement, and installation of 36-inch to 66-inch diameter piping.

A second contract included the concrete substructure and construction of underground electrical duct banks, installation of mechanical piping and storm sewer systems, along with the driving of 4200 individual H-pile.
