Ames Construction is honored to receive a 2024 ICE Award for Best Utility Infrastructure Project (over $10 million) from the Colorado Contractors Association for our work on the National Western Center Campus Redevelopment in Denver.

As a prime subcontractor to the City and County of Denver’s Horizontal Integrated Contractor, Ames delivered five work order packages for the redevelopment project.

The project laid the groundwork for a complete revitalization of a site that has served Denver for more than 100 years. Ames played a significant role in upgrading infrastructure, preserving historical structures, and opening up the campus for new indoor and outdoor space.

The ICE (Infrastructure Construction Excellence) Awards recognize outstanding industry projects and achievements in Colorado.
