Long before environmental stewardship was an industry imperative—even before the first observance of Earth Day!—Ames Construction adopted the principle of “Working in Harmony with Nature.” As we celebrate Earth Day on April 22 and Arbor Day on April 26, we look forward to making a difference for the environment and in our communities every day.

Our people make a difference in the communities where we work—one highway at a time!

The people working on Ames Construction transportation projects are talented professionals and cherished spouses, parents, family members, friends, and community members. They—and everyone traveling through our projects—need to go home safely every day.

Ames Construction accelerated to the finish line on the West Davis Corridor project in Utah, opening the new roadway in early January 2024, several months ahead of schedule. More than 2,500 people celebrated the project with a two-mile walk-run-bike event on the highway before it was opened to traffic.

Community is part of all of us. Team members of the Midwest/Southeast Region Pursuit Group spent time recently packing meals and team building at Open Arms of Minnesota.

Ames Construction’s Burnsville corporate office, Midwest Region, and few people from our Southeast Region kicked off the 2024 season with a gathering at the Ames Center in Burnsville, Minnesota, that centered around our core values of People, Team, Our Bond, Persistence, and Vision.
