In early April, our California DOT drivers came together at a rail terminal project site for annual training and the chance to connect in person and learn from each other.

Congratulations, Juan Jimenez! An oiler in Ames Construction’s Southwest Region, Juan earned a Safe Driving Milage Award in the “Up to 99K Miles” category from the Southern California Contractors Association (SCCA).

Ames Construction took home the 2023 Traveling Safety Award from the 91st annual conference of the Colorado Contractors Association (CCA) in January.

For the seventh year in a row, Ames Construction is a platinum-level recipient of the Safe Contractor of the Year Award from the National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association (NRC) for distinguished safety performance.

The Ames team took home the Jeff Jensen Memorial Safety Excellence Award for Category III (over 300,000 work hours), and the MnDOT AGC Bridge Award (over $5 million category) for the rehabilitation of the Third Avenue Bridge in Minneapolis.
