Ames’ Pursuit Team Mentorship Program Helps New Estimators Grow Without Barriers

At Ames Construction, coworker development highlights four of our five core values: People, Team, Our Bond, and Vision. In fact, it’s hard to find an Ames initiative that better embodies these values.

Ames’ Pursuit Team Mentorship Program group would like you to meet Manasvi Mangukiya and Shane Heller.

Mentee Manasvi Mangukiya is a talented pursuit engineer eager to learn and grow in her role. “At Ames, the atmosphere is incredibly supportive. Colleagues are always willing to lend a hand and share their knowledge, making it easy for me as a junior estimator to learn and grow. It doesn’t matter if someone is working on the same project or not; the willingness to help is always there. The collaborative environment at Ames not only facilitates professional development but also creates a sense of belonging and unity within the team. I am thankful for my mentor and everyone for teaching me something new every day.”

Mentor Shane Heller is a senior pursuit engineer with 12 years of experience, and he’s dedicated to supporting the development of junior team members. “It’s rewarding to invest time into people and watch them grow in their careers,” he says. “I try to remember the support I’ve received in my career and pay that forward.”
