Ames Welcomes Our 2026 Southwest Interns
Ames is excited to welcome our 2026 Southwest interns, who recently completed a two‑week onboarding program before heading to their assigned jobsites. During onboarding, interns participated in safety training, technical workshops, and hands-on experiences, while connecting with teams across the organization and gaining insight into Ames’ work and operations.
From equipment training at the Empire/CAT Proving Grounds to site visits like the U.S. 60 Queen Creek Bridge Replacement Project, interns had the opportunity to see firsthand how projects come together. We’re excited to have them on board and look forward to the contributions they’ll make this summer.
